My name is Michelle, and I’m an animal lover living in San Diego with a passion for sharing my animal adventures through photos and videos. I enjoy visiting zoos and aquariums, taking photos of the human-animal bond, and connecting people with animals and conservation. I hope you will join me, as I seek to expand my own knowledge of how to help our animal friends, as well as inspire others to protect what they love.

On October 3, 2021, I attended an event in San Diego put on by Mission Wildlife – an organization that raises money for conservation efforts in Africa. At this year’s event, funds raised were donated to Painted Dog Conservation and Save Pangolins. This was truly a memorable experience with SO many animal encounters!
The native wildlife of La Jolla, California is amazing. In this post, I share pictures of one of the most famous marine mammal species that calls La Jolla home – the California sea lion – as well as share some fun facts about these adorable pinnipeds.
